Shipping Policy
Technical Detail: International Orders (out of Uruguay) are delivered on a
DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis. This means the recipient is responsible for
all import duties, customs, and local sales taxes levied by the country of
destination.
If a delivery is refused or
canceled due to customs charges, the original shipping fees and any costs
incurred for the return of the package will be deducted from your final refund.
Exchanges and returns
Exchanges and returns must be made within 15 days of the date the product was received.
Cardan Cabos covers the initial shipping cost. If the customer wishes to exchange the item for a different product, they will be responsible for both shipping costs (return and shipment of the new product).
The item to be returned must be in perfect condition and unused.
We accept returns of garments with standard sizes, such as ponchos, ruanas or accessories.
We do not accept exchanges or returns of garments that we make to measure, as these are orders that we make especially for each client.
Don't hesitate to write to us if you have any questions.

Garment care
Dry clean or gently hand wash with cold water and neutral soap.
Do not soak.
Dry in the shade and preferably spread out on a clean, flat surface.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not hang the garment to dry, this may stretch or deform it.
If you wish to iron the garment, it is necessary to turn it inside out, with a piece of 100% linen or cotton fabric between the garment and the iron, so that it is not in direct contact.
Iron at a temperature lower than 110°C.
Do not spin.
Spin drying flattens the fabric, deforms it, and reduces the size of the garment.
We also recommend storing your garment folded inside a bag with a sprig of bay leaves or lavender flowers; this keeps moths away. Never hang your knitted garments on hangers, as this will likely stretch or distort them.
Wool pilling
Pilling comes from the English word "pill," which means a small pill or ball. It refers to those small balls that appear on the surface of clothing.
Pilling is common in wool, cashmere, and silk garments, and while it may detract from their aesthetic appeal, it doesn't indicate low quality. It's a natural and unavoidable phenomenon. We recommend using a pilling remover specifically designed for this purpose. Do not use razor blades, as this can damage the garment!
