Care instructions for your garment
A handcrafted garment always has a beautiful story to tell.
A path that now continues in your hands.
Here are some tips for caring for your garment:
- Dry clean or hand wash with cold water and neutral soap.
- Do not soak.
- Dry in the shade, preferably spread out on a flat, clean surface.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Do not hang the garment to dry, as it may stretch or become misshapen.
- Do not spin: spinning compacts the fabric, deforms it and can reduce its size.
- If you wish to iron it, do so inside out, placing a 100% linen or cotton cloth between the garment and the iron to avoid direct contact.
- Iron at a low temperature (less than 110ºC).
What is pilling and how to care for it?
Pilling comes from the English word "pill," which means a small ball or pellet. It refers to those small balls that can form on the surface of some garments.
This is a common phenomenon in natural fibers such as wool, cashmere, or silk, and although it can affect the garment's appearance, it doesn't indicate low quality. On the contrary, it's a natural reaction of the material to wear and tear.
To keep your clothes in good condition, we recommend using a special machine to remove pilling.
Avoid using razor blades, as they could damage the fibers and compromise the garment's lifespan.
We suggest storing your folded garment inside a cloth bag, along with a small bouquet of bay leaves or lavender flowers.
These natural elements help keep moths away.
Avoid hanging knitted garments on hangers, as they may stretch or become misshapen over time.
With these simple care tips, your garment will stay beautiful for much longer.
